报告题目：Using spins in diamond for quantum technologies

报告摘要：

Solid-state defect centers, such as the nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond, represent a promising and versatile platform for quantum technologies, with potential in areas as diverse as sensing, simulation, networking, and computation. However, the presence of noise still makes real-world applications challenging. In this talk, I will present some work done during my PhD focused on overcoming the challenge of noise in diamond to facilitate its practical use.

报告人简介：

汪杨，理学博士。2011-2015年，就读于四川大学物理系，获物理学士学位；2015-2017年，就读于德国亚琛工业大学（RWTH-Aachen university）物理系，获物理学硕士学位，导师为Barbara Terhal教授。2018-2023年，于荷兰代尔夫特理工大学QuTech研究所（Delft university of technology）攻读博士学位，博士导师为Barbara Terhal教授和Tim Taminiau教授。自2023年3月起，为德国斯图加特大学第三物理研究所博士后，合作导师为Joerg Wrachtrup教授。博士期间的主要工作是设计并深度参与了一系列旨在控制金刚石NV色心中噪声的实验。当前研究兴趣主要集中于面向实际应用发展基于色心的量子技术。
